Role: Machine Operator                                               

Location: Stonehouse

Salary: £34,800

Shift Pattern: Early: 6am – 2pm (6am – 1pm on Friday) / Late: 2pm – 10.30pm (1pm – 8pm on Friday)

Permanent Position

This is an excellent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join an established engineering business in the Stonehouse.

This market leading engineering company operates an international network of facilities serving a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and oil & gas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a wide range of production equipment within engineer environment.
• Operate semi-automatic equipment using predetermined programmes
• Quality check parts before releasing to customers.
• Stripping of coating from Jigs / fixtures
• Maintain required control of jigging / fixtures to ensure readily available and placed in correct designated area
• Goods Inwards inspection of received products
• Ensure machines / Spray Booths are operated according to site and manufacturers recommendations

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Engineering background proficient in interpreting drawings and measurement techniques.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork abilities.
• Possesses effective communication skills.

Salary / package details:

• Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
• Life Assurance – 2x annual salary rising to 4 x if join Company pension.
