Staffline recruitment is recruiting a FOOD PROCESSORS (Food Production) to work in food production departments within our clients Factory in Knowsley area, Liverpool.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reporting to Line Leader

ROTATING SHIFTS: Full time, permanent working two-shift rotation (morning and afternoon shifts).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:

Working on a fast paced moving line, making products.

Maintaining your work station while ensuring the quality and presentation of the products meeting the required standards

Ensuring all check are completed on Autocoding system as required; all record sheets are filled in correctly and in a timely manner

Perform all basic production equipment operation, ensure a steady workflow, achieve and maintain production standards

Understand the product that is being produced and utilise the specifications.

Please be aware that this position involves continuously heavy lifting (approximately 25 kg bags)

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE and ATTRIBUTES:
Must be a good communicator and able to direct team members

Highly motivated and enthusiastic team player who is level headed and a logical thinker

Able to work under pressure in some occasions

A 'can do' 'will do' attitude

Computer literate

The ability to take instruction but also ability to work on own initiative

Working in a food production area you will need to work as part of a team and offer flexibility

Food production experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

Rates of pay start at £9.40 per hour, Pension Scheme, wending machines, free parking and free Wi-Fi in our onsite Canteen.
