No previous experience is necessary to earn up to £11.89 per hour as a Warehouse Operative at a busy distribution centre for a leading UK supermarket.
Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Daventry.
The rates of pay are:
-£9.00 per hour between 7am and 3pm
-£9.40 per hour between 3pm and 11pm
-£9.97 per hour between 11pm and 7am
After 12 weeks of work, the rate of pay will rise to:
-£10.46 per hour between 7am and 6pm
-£11.89 per hour between 6pm and 7am
Overtime is available at this site as well as performance based bonuses.
There are flexible shift patterns at this site. The hours of work are:
- 7am to 3pm
- 3pm to 11pm
- 11pm to 7am
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative at this site you will pick and pack general merchandise using LLOP electric trucks and wrist devices, which tell you which items to pick and where they are located.
Full 3-day training is provided and paid for.
Warehouse Operatives will:
- Work to meet customer performance standards
- Adhere to site Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Warehouse Operative has a flexible approach to working hours, as weekend work is essential.
You must have good literacy and numeracy skills; you will be required to undergo pre-employment tests.
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred, however, this is not essential ass initial and on-going training will be provided.
This role is performance related you will have daily and weekly targets that you will be expected to achieve after training.
You must pass a literacy and numeracy test in English and will also be required to take a compulsory Drug and Alcohol test prior to employment.
You should be prepared to work 5 or 6 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays which are paid at the standard rate.
