Permanent work available at our client's food manufacturing site, which is a bakery that makes delicious pork pies, sausage rolls, quiches, flans and tarts, savoury eggs and hot pies and pasties.

Staffline is recruiting for a Training Assistant role to work in Nottingham.

The pay rate is £9.36 per hour

You are required to work Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

Your Time at Work

Your duties would include:

-Maintaining and updating training paper records, electronic records, and the Nottingham Sites Training Matrices.
-Supporting the Nottingham Sites Training Officer by gathering work task related information for SOP.
-Observing work tasks in the factory
Speak to staff to support the writing of the SOP
-Take photos of machinery and tasks to ensure that the SOP for both sites are maintained to a high standard.
-Support and drive the coordination of the SOP training, producing a plan of activity, and liaising with departments as to staff availability ensuring that key dates and times are communicated.
-Support the Nottingham Sites Trainer with administration for a number of onsite courses such as Level 2 Food Safety, Forklift Truck Training, First Aid Training, Manual Handling and Mental Health Awareness Training. Basic experience of Microsoft Outlook and Office Word is essential.
-Use training data to create weekly/monthly updates and trackers and communicating progress to the Sites Management Teams.
-Create a tracker of all training activities to create a process to deliver accurate training hours to the Training Officer and HR Controller.

Our Perfect Worker

You will have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office/Word and Excel.

Proven experience of maintaining a varied workload and working at pace within a manufacturing environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience in similar role desirable, but not essential

Ability to work between two close sites
