Staffline is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 driver with immediate starts for our client based in Carlisle, Cumbria.
PAYE rates for the role of LGV2 driver are as follows:
First 12 weeks –
After 12 weeks –
You will be required to work on days or on nights on your planned days and be able to commit to a rota ongoing.
All rotas will be confirmed and in place weekly in advance.
All positions we are recruiting for will be offered a guaranteed permanent position after 12 weeks (providing you have good attendance and performance record and can work the shift patterns required).
We will also welcome candidates who are looking for a more temporary and flexible role.
Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 2 driver, the work will involve trunking parcels between depots and making deliveries in bulk to distribution locations in and around Cumbria and surrounding areas.
You will be using a handheld scanner, loading and unloading at premises with multidrop up to 10 drops per shift (but often less and not to home properties).
In return for your commitment, we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you.
You will have good local geographical knowledge and good work ethic, ensuring health and safety is followed at all time.
