Warehouse Operative (Leeds)

Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work for one of the world's biggest fashion retailers in Knottingley, near Wakefield.


The rate of pay is £10.41 per hour. Overtime is paid at time and a half and double.

Your contract will be 36 hours per week, which will include paid breaks.

You will be required to work the following Rotating shifts:
- 6 am to 3 pm
- 3.15pm to 12am (midnight)

Typically, you will work any 4 days out of 7 and 1 weekend in 3.


- £12.24 per hour for the hours between 12 am and 6 am after 12 weeks of service and £10.41 per hour for the hours between 10 pm and 12 am after 12 weeks of service

We guarantee 40 hours per week every week where the working hours and shift pattern are as below:

-10 pm to 6 am, Sunday to Thursday

Overtime is available at £18.36.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative at this site, you will work with items of clothing, home-wares, and even furniture, preparing them for distribution nationwide.

You will also select items to fulfill store orders, and you will help move stock around the warehouse.
Warehouse Operatives also assess the quality of the clothing and work to maintain the high standards of health and safety at the site.

Your duties will include:

- Tagging and ticketing clothing
- Fast-paced order picking
- Processing stock for distribution

Some manual handling will be required in this role.
