Staffline is recruiting for Production Operatives- Potato Sorter in Ormskirk.
The rate of pay is £8.91 per hour.
This is a full-time role the hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
All breaks will be unpaid, but colleagues will receive paid time for all operational procedures.
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative/Potato Sorter your duties include:
- Working in a busy production packhouse
- There are 4 or 5 machines you could be working alongside, all do the same job the only difference would be the size of the potatoes you would be checking
- You would be grading potatoes, ensuring the quality stock gets through and removing any that do not come up to standard
- You would also be packing them, filling bags or boxes with potatoes and stacking the bags/boxes onto pallets.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Production Operative-Potato sorter will have good attendance, punctuality and a good work attitude. You must be physically fit and have a keen eye for quality control.
No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.
