Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative to work at our client's busy meat production warehouse.
Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative in Colne.
The rate of pay is £10.20 per hour.
You will work Monday to Friday starting at 6 am, the length of the shift depends on the production plan.
Workers are expected to be flexible with regard to finish time. On average, the shift runs for 8/9 hours.
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative, your duties include working in the gut room, performing all general duties requested by the Line Leader/ Line Manager to make sure production runs smoothly (ie: removing inedible parts of animals, cutting hooves, removing stomachs and livers). Heavy lifting is involved (carrying empty dolavs; emptying dolavs full of guts).
All relevant PPE provided by the company.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Production Operative will be physically fit due to the nature of the role and be able to lift products of up to 25kg.
No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.
