FM Facilities Management Co-ordinator

Our client, a household name in FMCG/Food and Drink Manufacturing, are recruiting a Facilities Management (FM) Co-Ordinator to work closely with the Facilities Manager to support all Corporate Head Office facility activities. You will maintain the highest levels of contract performance.

The FM Co-Ordinator will be the first point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support to deliver facilities activities, whilst driving continual improvements in FM management.

Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

◾Assist the Facilities Manager in all aspects of maintenance and project implementation as required.

◾Manage site maintenance requirements

Review Risk Assessment and Method Statements

Manage the Site BMS System

◾Manage the Security access and control system in conjunction with the Soft Services Manager.

◾Co-ordinate all Facilities activities, work direction and support systems.

◾Supervise facility employees and contractors as needed.

◾Maintain and update administrative policies and procedures.

◾To assist in the management of building services maintenance including oversight and control of external consultants and contractors.

◾To ensure that maintenance and service request to the Helpdesk are responded to in a timely manner.

◾To maintain effective access and safety systems (both manual and electrical) for the buildings always including out-of-hours.

Run CAPEX projects from concept, financial preparation, supplier selection and management

Formulate and write site facilities procedures

What are we are looking for?

◾General education to GCSE standard or equivalent, preferably with a relevant technical qualification.

Experience in a similar role

Ability to work cross-functionally, with good influencing skills

◾Working knowledge and training in Health & Safety issues associated with FM.

◾Experience in work planning and management, creation of work programmes across several buildings and moves management.

◾Excellent communications skills.

◾Extensive working knowledge of supervising building services operations on a portfolio of buildings.

IOSH Qualified

Experience in building management, both HARD AND SOFT FM, preferably
