Accounts Payable Clerk

Staffline is recruiting for a Accounts Payable Clerk, working for one of our most prestigious client's based in Tyrefort, Birmingham.

Salary: £20,000 per annum

The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and prepare carrier 's invoices, ensuring all documentation is processed and completed on time and accurately whilst providing excellent customer service support.

You will be required to work 37.5 hours a week either from 8AM to 4PM or from 8.30AM to 4.30PM. Also, some flexibility to work additional shifts, where necessary to meet the business needs is essential. Your Time at Work

The main responsibilities will be to process carriers invoices through OTM (in house system) You will required to check that all the invoices have been correctly sent by the clients and entering all the relevant details for the carrier to be paid.

Main accountabilities to include but not be limited to:

  • High volume of suppliers invoices and invoice processing (essential)
  • Understanding the basic of Finance
  • Good PC knowledge                                                                                                                                              
  • Audit and payment of supplier invoices via OTM
  • Liaise with Operational staff to resolve supplier queries
  • Ensuring all Transport Invoices and the processing of the Billing are processed in a timely manner on behalf of the customer
  • Ensure clear communication between all functions within the transport department

Our Perfect Worker

We are looking for someone who would like a career with the finance dept; the volume of invoices received are very high and mainly all the carrier used are based in Europe.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill base:

  • Computer literate and competent with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to organise/schedule/prioritise
  • Numeracy skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service

Interviews will be held immediately. Experience in finance would be great but not essential as full training will be provided.
