Transport Analyst

  • Halewood Speke/Evans Road/Liverpool £11.12 per hour Type of Job: Temporary

A vacancy has arisen for a Transport Analyst working for one of our most prestigious clients based in Evans Road, Halewood Speke (Liverpool). You will be responsible to co-ordinate the capture, processing and monitoring fleet maintenance to respective depots. This is a demanding role and you will be working alongside our client within a busy transport office. This is a temporary role and the right candidates will have the potential for career progression.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Fleet maintenance in TMC (upkeep on units, trailers), including the initial set-up
  • Monitor and escalate any gaps in SEB to respective depots
  • Send out regular 'active' route reports to highlight drivers not logged on
  • Issue compliance reports to Transport Managers and Sub-contractors
  • Regularly audit geo-fences
  • Create new user logins for SEB (citrix logins request to go through DHL IT/Microlise)
  • Create new driver logins & maintain a log for traceability
  • Day to day investigative route analysis, establishing trends and escalating accordingly, adding to SEB CCAR
  • Escalate missing SEB routes for the following day (see escalation process)
  • Liaise with UK Planning, Vendor Management and various Transport operations
  • Create a SMART POD 'centrally managed log' with the details for every phone across the business with all the details including email account etc., what depot has what etc.
  • Training updates to A1 assessors who in turn train out to all UK drivers
  • Write and update ongoing process changes
  • Create Troubleshooting / Glossary for common/ Known issues
  • Issue reports to sub-contractors
  • Check SEB reflects start plan
  • Escalate late routes to respective depots, who in turn escalate to JLR Release & Follow Up Analyst. Highlight any routes at risk due to pending late collections
  • Respond direct to JLR Release & Follow Up analyst when required
  • Create A3 document with the assistance of CS Manager & Business Analyst to reflect performance
  • Responsible for the SEB interface; drop down filter set etc
  • Monitor and set up arrivals boards (set up interfaces by deck, plant etc)
  • Responsible for all UAT testing and logging of tests
  • Chase any outstanding IT Tickets raised against Microlise SEB
  • Sub-contractor communications (process to be agreed)

You will be required to work from 2PM to 10PM from Monday to Friday. However, some flexibility to work additional shifts, where necessary to meet the business needs is essential.
