Job title: Import/Export sales administrator

Salary: £23,000-£25,000

Hours of working: 39hrs + 1hrs lunch break (Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00 & Fri 08:00-16:00)

Holidays: 24 days per annum

Other: Statutory sick pay / Pension scheme

We are seeking a competent individual with sales administrative and export/import experience. The core function of this role is to ensure that the dispatch and transportation of goods are done within an efficient and economic manner, whilst focusing on lead-times from order to dispatch and company targets.

Main duties:

  • Producing sales invoice and Commercial Export Documentations
  • Full responsibility of organising transport of goods to customers
  • Dealing with freight forwarders and obtaining quotations
  • General office administration including, dealing with general enquiries and telephone calls
  • Processing enquiries from customers
  • Day to day communication with customers as required verbally and via email
  • Working as part of team to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Providing detailed analysis as requested
  • Dealing with customer enquiries relating to orders, shipments and deliveries
  • Undertaking various other administrative duties as required

The person:

  • Strong team player but can equally work alone with little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must demonstrate good knowledge of dealing with shipping and export documents within EU and under WTO rules
  • Good IT skills - Microsoft, Websites and open to learning new software
  • The ability to learn and absorb information quickly
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
