Incident Control Officer

We are currently recruiting for an Incident Control Officer, to join a Government contract in Westminster, working with Allied Universal!
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £15.10 per hour
Hours: 42 per week (on average)
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off. Flexibility required Monday to Sunday, for a day and night shift rotation.
SIA Required: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor, with a CCTV License.
Experience Level: 1 year or more in a control room environment.
Please be aware that this position will require a SC Clearance (set by the Government), so you will be asked questions in regards to this in a telephone interview to ensure you meet the requirements.
Your Time at Work
- To be responsible for all Security related matters within the London area of Operations for the FCDO, ensuring the protection of infrastructure, safety of personnel and that all actions of the security team have a positive impact upon the reputation.
- All Security matters must be dealt with in accordance with the set policies and procedures, where applicable, the ICO/DICO must be able to use their initiative during incident management.
- The ICO/DICO must work closely with FMCU to provide a professional and efficient service to the client.
- The ICO is to manage the DICO working on their shift whilst ensuring operational effectiveness of the ICO room assets. They will act as mentor and coach for the DICO ensuring that they are fully conversant with the Assignment Instructions and Post Instructions and are able to articulate their
understanding when questioned by management.
- Ensure all visitors details are recorded in conjunction with the Data Protection Act.
- The ICO/DICO are to maintain the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) in accordance with the Post Instructions.
- Monitor all CCTV cameras and be active in the surveillance of any potential threats to the site, its staff or any third party. Monitor and manage all alarms and escalate any activations as per the Post Instructions.
- Be able to clearly communicate via various means internally to the site or its surrounding partners.

- You will need to be aged 18 or over.
- Client focus and understanding of expectations within client environment.
- PC literate - understanding of how to use technology as a tool
- Communication and presentation skills of high level
- Good team management/communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Valid SIA CCTV Licence
- Excellent time management skills, highly organised, with the ability to set and meet deadlines
- The ICO/DICO must be SC cleared
