Staffline is recruiting 7.5 Ton Drivers in Milton Keynes.
The rate of pay is £15.02 per hour.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:
- 8am to 5pm
Your Time at Work
As a 7.5 Ton Driver, your duties include:
- Ensuring full vehicle safety checks are carried out to DVSA standards.
- Checking the load and ensuring that items are properly stacked and secured inside the vehicle.
- Delivering frozen, chilled, and ambient products to and from 3PL & TCFG, ensuring delivery schedules are always met.
- Always treat all members of the public in a professional manner, ensuring noise is kept to a minimum, paying consideration during silent hours.
- Completing all logs and paperwork daily as required, ensuring temperatures are set correctly and operational.
- Always drive safely and follow all laws relating to driving and your vehicle.
- Report any vehicle issues/defects or accidents immediately to your manager.
- Always keep your vehicle clean and presentable inside and out.
- Always ensure compliance with company operating procedures.
- Carry out other duties linked with trade as reasonably requested in relation to the needs of the business.
- Take delivery instructions from supervisors.
Our Perfect Worker
What we are looking for:
- Must have a valid and clean 7.5t Driving Licence
- Must hold in date Driver CPDC
- Ability to understand and read the Digital Tachograph
- Experience in a similar role
- A flexible, reliable attitude and the ability to adapt to changing schedules.
- A commitment to safety and a professional approach to driving
