We are currently recruiting for an Intelligence & Investigation Administrative Support to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in Basildon!

The Intelligence & Investigation Administrative Support position is an office-based role that is at the forefront of the Clients' risk and loss reduction strategy.

The role is predominantly based in the client's UK Basildon Headquarters, although some UK & International travel may be required as necessary.

Applicants must have a valid SIA Licence or be willing to undertake training.

Contract Information:
Location: Basildon
Pay Rate: £30201.11 per year
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday (out of working hours working may be required ad hoc)
Shift Pattern: Variable start times, working between 0600 & 1800 hours

Your Time at Work

As an Intelligence & Investigation Administrative Support your duties will include:

- Supporting investigations into breaches of security, reporting all losses or suspected losses, and other unusual events
- Creating and maintaining Crime/Theft/Incident/General Reports.
- Escalating issues as appropriate to the team manager.
- Producing "read and action" e-mails to appropriate client personnel to assist in operations / reduce potential for losses through observations/lessons learned.
- Evaluating information, taking appropriate actions, identifying trends and patterns, and using information to achieve the desired outcome.
- Providing operational and administrative support to new product development projects.
- Carrying out a support role in an ethical way, complying with legislation, policy, and best practice.
- Working with law enforcement and other agencies as a single point of contact and providing support to planned operations.
- Assisting/researching projects as designated by the team manager.
- Assisting with AEO/CTPAT compliance.
- Ensuring any work meets standards and organisational policies in line with current legislation.
- Ensuring quality/storage/confidentiality/dissemination of intelligence is managed & maintained effectively/correctly.
- Providing accurate and detailed reports.
- Recording retention in accordance with the Annual File Retention (AFRP) Periods.
- Intelligence gathering from open sources and the client's internal systems.
- Identifying intelligence improvement opportunities and processes.
- Developing and maintaining data analysis programs and outputs.

Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times.

It is also important that you are:

- Competent in the use of Information Technology (Microsoft Office suite, intermediate Excel functions, Google dorking commands, and previous experience of using mass communications tools e.g., Mailchimp, mailbulk etc.)
- Previous experience in intelligence and data analysis fields - Desirable
- Ability to develop and present briefings and briefing notes to a high standard to senior-level representatives.
- Ability to work, with minimal supervision, on own initiative and as part of wider team
- Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation- Desirable
- Committed to personal continued Professional Development
- Problem Solving - Understands and applies relevant information to create practical solutions
