Security Officer

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join Allied Universal as a Security Officer. The role will be based at a global finance company, which is a very corporate environment.
We are looking for candidates who have previous corporate Front of House experience, who have excellent customer service skills and have over 1 year of experience in this type of role. This role will also include management of the Javelin system for day-to-day cover, so experience and knowledge of this will be preferred.
Contract Information:
Hours per week - 60
Shift pattern - Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm
Pay rate - £15.51 per hour
Location - EC3M postcode
SIA Required - Security Guarding or Door Supervisor licence, and a CCTV licence
Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer your duties include:
- Acting as an ambassador for the building and always maintaining a welcoming approach and professional appearance
- Welcoming all staff and guests into the building with a genuine greeting and responding to people with a smile or reassuring gesture- Maintain excellent site knowledge of both the building and the surrounding area to effectively answer any questions from building users
- Being aware of personal responsibilities regarding the site policies and procedures
- Being observant and having a full understanding of building security WIs and EOPs to ensure the security of the building and its users
- Being familiar with the contents of the Assignment Instructions and associated procedures
- Thinking outside of the box and going that extra mile to assist occupiers and guests
- Reporting any suspicious activity, including hostile reconnaissance or suspicious items
- Detecting and deterring any threats in or around our building
- Taking direction from the management team
- Providing a world-class customer experience
- Working seamlessly with other service providers and departments
- Conducting Internal/External patrols
