Staffline is recruiting Bakery Operatives in Nottingham.
The rate of pay is £12.50 - £12.95 per hour.
This role offers both full and part-time hours. Working on the following shift patterns: 4 on 4 off - working 2 days, 2 nights on rota, then 4 days off. The hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
- 6pm to 6am
Due to the location being outside the city, you must have their own transport, unless you are able to travel using the Rainbow One bus.
Please also be aware that a minimum availability of 24 hours per week is required for this role.
Your Time at Work
As a Bakery Operative your duties include:
- Running and monitoring bakery machinery
- Picking, packing, and labelling products for distribution
- Maintaining hygiene and completing cleaning routines
- Supporting teamwork and continuous improvement
- Working in warm environments
Please note that there will be manual handling and lifting involved in this role.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be flexible, adaptable, and show great attention to detail. You will be comfortable with warm areas, a noisy environment, and dusty conditions due to flour.
Applicants will show strong health & safety awareness - following hygiene, safety, manual handling rules, and wear masks where required.
You must have clear English communication skills and be able to understand and relay information quickly and safely.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
