Overview.

We are currently recruiting for Aviation Security Officers to join the G4S team, working for a well-known site in Gatwick Airport!

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Part-time permanent position, 15 hours per week. (3-4 hours per shift)
Shift Pattern: From 20.30pm to 00.30am

CTC and DBS checks are required for all potential candidates.

Your Time at Work

As an Aviation Security Officer, you will be presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible, and commanding security presence at the premises of our clients, to perform aviation security tasks such as:

- Bag searches
- Pat downs and body searches on Females
- Plane guarding
- Aircraft searches in accordance with DfT/CAA regulations
- Local operating procedures.

You will also be required to use and maintain company/customer equipment as and when supplied.

To be considered for employment with G4S in this role, you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements:

- Unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
- Must be a UK resident for the last 3 years.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Good customer service/communication skills.
- Must be able to pass the CRC check.
- Must be able to pass all required training.
- Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
- Physical requirements include being able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, plus being able to work in outdoor weather environments.
