Apply today to work as a Shift Manager for our client, who makes pastries and cakes for its shops and external customers.
Staffline is recruiting Shift Managers in Crewe.
The rate of pay is £20.70 per hour.
Overtime is available after working over 37.5 hours and is paid at £31.05 per hour.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday - Thursday and Sunday, and the hours of work are:
- Sunday 6pm to 6am
- Monday to Thursday 10pm to 6am
- Friday overtime if needed
Your Time at Work
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the operations manager with ensuring all customer orders are picked, packed, and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure operations customer-facing activity is delivered to a high standard
- Having an eye for detail and always ensuring 100% quality, working with the team to ensure all processes are being followed correctly.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the shift; therefore, excellent communication skills, great planning, and organisation skills are a must in this progressive role.
- Deputise for the manager in their absence.
- Work closely with the manufacturing colleagues across the different departments in production and assembly on-site.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be IT literate. You will be physically fit, as the role may involve occasional heavy lifting.
Previous manager experience in food safety is required.
