Great opportunity to work as an RTITB MHE Trainer for our clients' well-established logistics provider delivering warehousing and distribution services across the UK. Our Dagenham site supports a range of major clients, including well-known drinks brands.

Staffline is recruiting RTITB MHE Trainers, Aisle Master (Bendy Truck) in Dagenham.

The rate of pay is £17.95 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:
- 8am to 4pm

Applicants will hold an Accredited MHE Trainer or Instructor certification (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, or equivalent) and have a valid teaching/instructor license, which is highly desirable.

Your Time at Work

The Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Trainer will be responsible for planning and delivering effective training sessions, as well as carrying out assessments to ensure warehouse colleagues can operate equipment safely and efficiently. This includes machinery such as High Level Order Pickers (HLOP), Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks, forklifts, Aisle Master (Bendy Truck) and Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT). Other duties include:

- Planning and delivering accredited training and refresher sessions for warehouse colleagues on HLOP, VNA, forklift, Aisle Master (Bendy Truck) and PPT equipment.
- Carrying out practical and theoretical assessments to ensure all operators meet both internal requirements and external safety standards.
- Keeping training records, licenses, and certification documentation accurate and up-to-date for all MHE operators.
- Encourage and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring full adherence to company procedures and industry regulations.
- Working closely with the warehouse management team to identify skill gaps and implement suitable training programs.
- Conducting regular reviews and observations of operators to maintain high levels of competence and compliance.
- Providing on-the-job coaching and support to both new starters and existing staff to improve performance and efficiency.
- Supporting induction processes by delivering MHE-related training and safety briefings for new employees.

This position requires a hands-on, safety-conscious individual who will work in partnership with warehouse and operational teams to support high-performance standards while ensuring full compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements. Your skills will include:

- Experience operating and training others on HLOP, VNA, forklifts, Aisle Master (Bendy Truck) and PPTs.
- Good understanding of warehouse work, health and safety, and MHE rules.
- Clear communication and good people skills.
- Able to support and motivate staff at all levels.
- Organised and able to keep accurate records.
