Great opportunity to work as a Hygiene Operative (Nights) at our client's leading fruit and vegetable production site.

Staffline is recruiting Hygiene Operatives to work in Peterborough.

The rate of pay is £14.90 per hour and overtime rate is £18.63 per hour.

This is a full time role, working nights on 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The hours of work are:
- 6pm to 6am

Flexibility will be required to meet the demands of the business.

Your Time at Work
As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the production facility, ensuring all areas meet strict food safety requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out daily and deep cleaning of production areas, equipment and facilities
- Performing post-cleaning checks to ensure standards are met
- Following "clean as you go" practices at all times
- Complying with all Health & Safety, hygiene and workplace guidelines, including correct use of PPE
- Completing required documentation accurately
- Reporting incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace
- Supporting a strong health & safety culture and continuous improvement across the site

Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Hygiene Operative will have a strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, following instructions and completing tasks efficiently. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.

Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to health and safety are essential for this role. Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
