Van Driver - Temporary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Van Driver to join our client's team in Peterborough.

Please note this is a temporary role (minimum 12 weeks) with an immediate start to cover an absence.

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 8am to 4:30pm

Your Time at Work

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for making timely deliveries, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring the safety and condition of the vehicle. Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out daily deliveries of vehicle parts to multiple locations (15-20 drops per day)
- Safely operate a loaded van and ensure timely deliveries
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes within the assigned area
- Handle parcels with care and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle

Additional Information:

- Daily travel may cover approximately 250 miles, depending on the delivery round

Requirements:

- Valid UK driving licence (Cat B) - no more than 6 points
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
- Must have previous delivery driving experience
- Physically fit - some heavy lifting may be involved
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
