Food Production Operative

Staffline is currently recruiting Food Production Operatives for our client, a global food manufacturer in Spalding.
Temporary to permanent positions.
The rates of pay are:
- Days: £12.72 per hour
- Nights: £13.92 per hour
This is a full-time role working a continental shift:
- Week one Monday, Tuesday, Friday + Saturday
- Week two Sunday, Wednesday + Thursday
Day and night shifts are available, 12-hour shifts, and the hours of work are:
- 6:30am to 6pm
- 6:30pm to 6am
Applicants must have their own transport or live locally.
ESOL testing must be passed on-site for successful candidates.
Your Time at Work
The responsibilities of a Food Production Operative include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing ready to eat sandwich wraps and other deli salad products
- Packing finished food products
- Weighing raw ingredients
- General hygiene and Housekeeping
- Quality Control Inspection of ingredients
- Working on a moving production line
- Standing up for the duration of the working shift on the shop floor
- Moving portable bins containing raw food materials
- Hand and eye coordination whilst working on a production line, assembling together ingredients to make up a finished edible product
Please note there are some low-temperature areas of work.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Food Production Operative will have excellent English communication and Maths skills. You will show good attention to detail and be able to follow hygiene and food safety rules at all times.
Applicants will be happy to work on a moving production line as well as in a cold environment and working within a large team.
No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
