Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative to work in Elm.
Due to the location of the site in Elm, candidates must have access to their own vehicle or reliable transport to travel to and from the workplace.
The rate of pay is:
- Day £13.45 per hour
- Night £15.15 per hour
Overtime is available after 38.5 hours and is paid at the following rates:
- Days £16.81 per hour
- Nights £18.51 per hour
You will work flexible shifts in this temporary, full-time role.
Day shifts:
You will work 4 days per week on 12-hour shifts. Shifts are allocated on a flexible rota in line with business needs, so flexibility is essential, including weekend availability.
Shift times may include:
- 6:00am - 6:00pm
- 8:00am - 7:30pm
- 10:30am - 10:00pm
- 11:00am - 10:00pm
Night shifts:
You will work 5 nights per week on 8-hour shifts. Shifts are also allocated on a flexible rota in line with business needs, including weekends.
Shift times may include:
- 8:00pm - 4:00am
- 10:00pm - 6:00am
There may be opportunities for reliable and committed candidates to transition to a fixed shift pattern over time (e.g. 4 on / 4 off days or a fixed 5 out of 7 night shift), depending on performance and business requirements.
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative, you will work on the line, packing high-quality fresh produce as well as preparing unique combinations of vegetables specifically to the customer's requirements.
This role involves standing for periods of up to 12 hours and some heavy lifting, up to 20kg.
Our Perfect Worker
A certain level of physical fitness is required as you will be standing for up to 12 hours a day and carrying out some heavy lifting.
Previous experience within a similar role as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative is desirable, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
