Site Security Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Site Security Supervisor to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in Stratford!
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £19.19 per hour
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, vary from 06.00am - 08.00am
SIA Licence: SIA Door Supervisor Licence
Your Time at Work
As a Site Security Supervisor, you will provide exceptional leadership and direction in the management of the ground security team, which are responsible for supporting and managing all of the site operations, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
You will provide clear and timely communication to all staff on key issues that affect the business operation and customer service delivery. Ensure that the interests of the site, their guests and staff to ensure they are fully protected at all times and conduct yourself accordingly, as their representative. Main Duties include:
- Brief and deploy ground officers correctly so they can effectively carry out their daily duties.
- Management of officer allocation during operating hours and events, including break relief.
- Ensure all incidents are managed effectively through to completion.
- Ensure enforcement with park rules, by-laws and parking enforcement.
- Completion and checking of all reports.
- Ensure all life safety equipment used by the security team is in working order and ready to be used.
- Complete weekly and monthly audits.
- Ensure standards of dress, safety and presentation are maintained at all times.
- Staff misconduct.
- Monitor and manage staff time & attendance.
- Day to day management of ground officers.
- Ensure ground officers are completing patrol routes and checking all necessary equipment.
- Review the performance and quality of ground staff on a monthly basis.
- Provide continued training and coaching to ground staff to enhance performance.
- To assist in the recruitment process of all new staff, in collaboration with the recruiter.
- Ensure that all staff receive the required level of supervision.
- Conduct and monitor 3/6 month reviews and annual appraisals.
- Ensure that all staff are site trained and have signed the assignment and procedure Instructions.
- To implement site instructions and undertake any necessary corrective action.
- Ensure that all contractual requirements are properly fulfilled with any issues reported.
- Handle all day-to-day enquiries.
- Show and initiate initiative where possible.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be punctual, have a smart appearance and good communication skills. You will be physically fit and able to walk for the duration of your shift.
Experience in a similar role is required.
