Overview.

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Night Supervisor to oversee overnight operations within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Staffline is recruiting a Night Supervisor in Telford.

The rate of pay is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

This is a full-time role working fixed night shifts and the hours of work are:
- 10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of warehouse activities and transport movements, leading a team to meet operational targets and service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise night shift warehouse and transport operations
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse operatives and drivers
- Ensure timely loading/unloading of vehicles and dispatch of goods
- Monitor transport schedules and resolve any operational issues
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance
- Conduct shift briefings, performance monitoring, and staff support
- Liaise with planning and day teams to ensure smooth handovers
- Complete reports, KPIs, and incident logs accurately

Skills & Experience Required:

- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse, logistics, or transport environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and transport processes
- Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations
- IT literate (WMS/TMS systems and Microsoft Office)
