Staffline is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Administrator for an immediate start in a brand new warehouse on a long-term temporary position, with the possibility of receiving a contract after 12 weeks.
The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
Overtime is available and is paid at £19.06 per hour.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:
- 8am to 4.30pm
30-minute break.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly
- Ensuring 100% accuracy and record keeping of invoicing/accounting
- Liaising with staff and customers to ensure effective communication regarding the day-to-day operation
- Being vigilant on all Health & Safety matters within Admin and ensuring all incidents/accidents are reported immediately
- Assisting in maintaining a high level of 5S
- Ensuring all tasks are completed correctly and on time within the boundaries of customer delivery requirements
- Ensuring an accurate inventory is maintained, communicate irregularities effectively
- Ensuring that warehouse operation teams have accurate documentation, and this is provided in due time
- Accurately record daily inventory to ensure end-of-month invoicing is correct without error
- Liaising with staff to resolve any issues regarding the day to day operation
- Liaising and effectively communicating with the Assistant Manager on all matters relating to quality, efficiency and all problems/irregularities are reported as soon as possible
- Liaising with the Assistant Manager of any part supply issues and or ad hoc customer requests,
- Ensuring accurate Freight Forwarding documentation is maintained and costs are correct in accordance with the tariffs and rates
- Maintaining/updating all relevant SOP's as required within the Branch
- Ensuring container/customer shipment requirements are monitored and adhered too
- Ensuring invoicing is carried out accurately, without error, and within the end of month time frames
- Effectively communicate daily requirements between the customer and the Assistant Manager,
- Any other reasonable task as requested by the Assistant Manager.

Requirements:
- Baste standard of education - up to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Computer Literate with the ability to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes to an intermediate level
- Knowledge of both warehouse and office practices
- Previous experience in a similar role
