Great Opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative/ FLT Driver for our clients award-winning, end-to-end supply chain specialist with over 30 years of experience providing bespoke logistics solutions for fashion brands, retailers, and other businesses.
Staffline is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative / FLT Drivers in Heston
The rate of pay is £14.46 per hour
The hours of work are rotating any 4 days out of 7. The shift times are:
- 8am -8pm
1 hour break
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative /FLT Driver your role will include:
- Ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Receiving and processing stock items to the agreed quality standard
- Picking and packing of stock
- Ensure the warehouse and premises are kept clean and safe at all times
- Report any issues of concern which may affect the smooth running of the warehouse
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety
- Maintain highest security standards in the warehouse at all times
- Effective use of equipment in the Warehouse in accordance with relevant competencies
Please note this role will include heavy lifting and manual handling.
Our Perfect Worker
Our Perfect worker will have excellent communication skill and math skills. You will need to had a flexible approach to work and the ability to work with changing demands (changes of shifts).
Applicants will need:
- The ability to work with limited supervision, excellent team working skills in a fast paced environment
- Computer Literacy, ability to use scanners and relevant warehousing software
- An understanding of current health and safety regulations
- Honesty and trustworthiness
- Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods
Candidates must have:
- FLT License
- ETSF experience
- Experience in a similar role
