Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's Distribution Centre.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Basildon.
The rate of pay is:
- Days £15.08 per hour
- Nights £16.81 per hour
Overtime is available and is paid at:
- Days £18.25 per hour
- Nights £18.69 per hour
This is a full-time role working rotating shifts or a fixed night shift and the hours of work are:
- Rotating, 6am to 2pm + 2pm to 10pm
- Fixed nights, 10pm to 6am
First 12 weeks:
- Unpaid breaks
After 12 weeks:
- Paid breaks
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative your duties include:
- Low Level Order Picking (LLOP) safely and efficiently for store-order picking (You will receive full training).
- Using a voice-directed headset system that provides clear, step-by-step instructions for selecting the correct products.
- Stack picked items securely in the cage, ensuring stability and accuracy before they are sent to stores.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment at all times to support safe and efficient operations.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will adhere to all site Health & Safety procedures, ensuring safe working practices for themselves and others.
Applicants will be physically fit and able to handle items of various weights and sizes, including occasional heavy lifting as part of the picking and stacking process.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
