Administrator - Production & Commercial Support

A great opportunity to work as an Administrator - Production & Commercial Support to join our client's fast-paced production site in Chatteris, with an immediate start available.

Staffline are currently recruiting for Administrators.

The hours of work will vary depending on business needs with the average shift being Monday to Friday:

- 08:00am - 17:00pm

Some weekend shifts maybe required.

The salary for this role is:
- £30,000 per annum

Due to the location of the site, candidates must have access to their own vehicle or reliable transport.

Your Time at Work

During your time as an Administrator your duties will include:

- Maintaining accurate production and stock records, entering data into internal systems and spreadsheets promptly.
- Checking production paperwork for accuracy, including maths checks, stock rotation, QA comments, and traceability.
- Updating and managing key Excel spreadsheets such as efficiencies, arrivals, stock predictors, and costings.
- Ensuring all communication - email, phone, and in person - is professional, timely, and constructive.
- Keeping documentation organised, accurate, and fully traceable.
- Liaising with Production, QA, Commercial, and other departments to support smooth daily operations.
- Completing general administrative and ad hoc tasks as required.

Production Focused Responsibilities (depending on experience)
- Allocating and re allocating production sheets and updating arrivals.
- Communicating order or arrival changes to the production team.
- Supporting the production office with phone calls, paperwork, and time sheet updates.
- Assisting the packhouse team on the line when required.
- Maintaining office standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and organised workspace.

Commercial Focused Responsibilities (depending on experience)
- Supporting the commercial team with data entry, spreadsheet management, and reporting.
- Assisting with customer and third party audits (ETI, BRC, Soil Association).
- Using Freshware or similar stock systems to maintain accurate commercial data.
- Supporting costings, grower claims, supplier communication, and account management after initial training.
- Providing cover for buyers when required.

- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A proactive mindset, good attention to detail

- Previous Experience in Administrator roles required, experience within Fresh Produce or FMCG desirable
