Staffline are recruiting for a Transport Supervisor in Northallerton.

The rate of pay is:
- £17.95 per hour

This is a temporary cover role working Monday to Friday 11.00am - 19.00pm

Your Time at Work

As a Transport Supervisor you will be responsible for:

- Enhancing the customer's experience
- Carrying out duties as defined by the Transport Manager
- Supervising the analysis of the Drivers Hours, Working Time Directive and DIGI cards
- Day to day team management of all staff within the distribution operation
- Undertaking the team supervision of a number of people across one or more Supply Chain Sites
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key suppliers and internal business partners
- Supporting the management team who have responsibility for maintaining all operating costs and managing within budget
- Coaching and developing team members to the standard required to meet business targets
- Having flexibility towards working pattern and overtime to support operational needs and "Working Time Directive" rules

Our perfect worker will be able to work as part of a team or individually and have effective communication skills. You will have good time management and punctuality.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
