Great opportunity to work as a Logistics Operative for our client's food production site.
Staffline is recruiting Logistics Operatives in Rochdale.
The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
Overtime is available and is paid at £19.07 per hour.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 5:45am to 2:40pm
A Valid PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Licence with safe operating practices and experience in a similar role is required.
Your Time at Work
As a Logistics Operative (PPT Licence), you will be responsible for the efficient movement, handling, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse and store areas. Key responsibilities:
- Receiving, inspecting, and verifying goods and materials upon delivery
- Safely move stock around the warehouse using a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT)
- Storing products and materials in designated areas with correct labelling and organisation
- Picking, preparing, and dispatching orders in line with operational requirements
- Ensuring that Health and Safety standards are upheld at all times
- Demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing business needs
