Great opportunity to join a busy Despatch Team within a well-established pork processing facility, helping to ensure high-quality products are prepared, loaded, and delivered to customers on time.

Staffline is recruiting Despatch Operatives in Bugle, St Austell.

This role is ideal for candidates with production, warehouse, logistics, or despatch experience who are looking for a long-term opportunity with training and progression available.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday.

The hours of work are:
- PM Shift: 3:15pm to 11:45pm

The rate of pay is:
- Standard - £14.00 per hour
- Overtime - £21.00 per hour

Applicants must have their own transport to travel to the site.

Your Time at Work

As a Despatch Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency while supporting the smooth movement of products throughout the despatch area.

Key duties include:
- Loading and unloading products in line with daily schedules
- Wrapping pallets and preparing customer orders for despatch
- Rotating stock correctly to meet customer requirements
- Completing quality checks and verifying critical control points (CCPs)
- Using SAP, PDB and eSmiley systems accurately
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and traceability records
- Following all food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement and team efficiency initiatives
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure all customer orders are completed on time

Our ideal Despatch Operative will be comfortable working within a food production environment and handling raw pork products.

You will be a reliable and motivated team player with good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Previous experience within a production, warehouse, logistics, or despatch environment is essential.
Experience using warehouse systems, stock control systems, SAP, PDB, or similar platforms would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.

You will have:
- Good organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good English and numeracy skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- An understanding of food safety and quality processes

Experience of forklift or PPT operation would be beneficial but is not essential.
