Great opportunity to work as a Thermal Process Operative within a well-established pork processing factory, working with high-quality pork products for human consumption in Bugle.

Be part of a dedicated AM or Night shift team to ensure our high-value products move seamlessly through our factory.

The rate of pay is:
- Days £14.04 per hour
- Nights £17.50 per hour

Overtime is available and is paid at:
- Days £21.06 per hour
- Nights £26.25 per hour

This is a full-time role working a fixed rolling roater on a 4-on 4-off basis. The hours of work are:
- Days 06:30am to 18:30pm
- Nights 18:30pm to 06:30am

Having your own transport is mandatory to travel to the site.

Your Time at Work

As our Thermal Process operative, you'll be helping to make sure everything runs safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll keep things moving, support fellow team members and ensure every customer requirement is completed correctly. Key Duties include:

- Operational Prowess: Help the team to complete all daily requirements whilst using prepped priority documents. This includes moving racks of product with the provided power pallet trucks.
- Inventory & Quality Control: Manage correct stock rotation for customer orders and oversee all CCPs and quality verification checks within your area.
- System & Data Management: Ensure accurate input for PDB and Esmiley systems, while maintaining flawless paperwork for traceability and legal requirements.
- Safety & Efficiency: Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety and hygiene procedures while continually identifying ways to improve team yields and operational efficiency.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be comfortable with handling raw meat and able to lift produce in excess of 5kg in weight.

We are looking for a responsible team member who thrives under pressure and takes pride in the accuracy of their work. You should be a trustworthy communicator who can motivate a team to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Previous factory or production experience preferred, but full training will be given.

Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and keep things running smoothly under pressure. You'll have a keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to paperwork.

Applicants will have good English skills, along with an understanding of food safety, HACCP, and continuous improvement practices. Experience with systems such as PDB or Esmiley would be an advantage.
