Apply today to work as a Bakery Operative in Nottingham, for our client, a leading bakery manufacturer, producing a wide range of bread and baked goods for major retailers and food service providers.
We're looking for motivated people who would like to join our team and help us to deliver high quality products to our customers every day.
The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
This role offers both full and part-time hours. Ad hoc work is available as well as 4 on/4 off shifts.
The hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
- 6pm to 6am
Applicants must be aware that a minimum availability of 24 hours per week is required for this role.
Due to the location, you must have your own transport, unless you are able to travel using the Rainbow One bus.
Your Time at Work
As a Bakery Operative, your duties include:
- Running and monitoring bakery machinery
- Picking, packing and labelling products for distribution
- Maintaining hygiene and completing cleaning routines
- Supporting teamwork and continuous improvement
- Working in warm environments
Please note that manual handling and lifting are involved in this role.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker would be someone who is reliable, hard-working and able to follow instructions. They must be comfortable with warm areas, a noisy environment and dusty conditions, due to flour.
Applicants must be able to follow hygiene, safety and manual handling rules. PPE is provided and must be worn.
Clear English communication skills are essential to be able to understand and relay information quickly and safely in a noisy environment.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
