HGV CLASS1 NIGHT TRUNKING DRIVERS REQUIRED - SOUTHAMPTON
LONG TERM, ONGOING WORK, IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE for suitable LGV1, HGV1, C+E DRIVERS
Staffline is recruiting 2 x HGV Class 1 drivers for a Worldwide Parcel Delivery Company based in Southampton.
This is a trunking role, operating Monday to Friday nights, shifts start times available between 17:00 and 21:00 moving trailers between depots with no handling of load required.
Candidates must be comfortable driving different units and various size of trailer and working independently.
CLASS 1 DRIVERS APPLYING MUST HAVE A MIN 12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE
This is a PAYE role accruing holiday pay:
- Days (17:00-20:00) £20.26 per hour
- Nights (20:00 onwards) £21.73 per hour
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week £25.33 per hour
Occasional weekend and Bank holidays may be required.
Your Time at Work
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, the work will involve depot delivery, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. In return for your commitment we can offer guaranteed shifts and start times that suit you. Regular weekend work available. Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply.
Our Perfect Worker
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will ideally have:
- 12 months HGV driving experience
- No more than 6 points
- Digi card and DQC
