Trampers - Class 1 Drivers

Our client, based in Scunthorpe, is looking for Class 1 Drivers - Trampers.
This role is on a 5 on 2 off, Monday to Friday, and permanent! The work is for retail clients and involves the use of cages.
Please only apply if you have at least 6 months of experience.
The rate of pay is £40,000 per annum, plus £25 per night out!
Average of 48 hours per week, 5 on 2 off Monday to Friday - Various start times.
Your Time at Work
As a Class 1 Driver - Tramper you will be a vital part of the Dedicated Fleet team, delivering a high-quality, reliable service to valued customers across the UK.
We want to be transparent from the outset and let you know the position involves a significant physical element, including the loading and unloading of both single-deck trailers, which can be a large variety of goods. Duties will include opening and closing curtains, removing the side boards, strapping and unstrapping and on the rare occasion, may involve having to use a pump truck, there may even be the odd occasion of having to open the roof.
Will need to complete blank CMRs when there is no paperwork issued with the load.
You should be comfortable with manual handling as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

What we are looking for:
- Customer-friendly manner and a can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- At least six months ' experience
- Solid understanding of tachograph rules
- No DD or DR offences
- No more than 6 points
