Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's busy Distribution Center.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Dartford.
The rates of pay are:
- Days starting rate is £14.21 per hour, rising to £16.50 per hour after 12 weeks
- Afternoons starting rate is £14.21 per hour, rising to £18.76 per hour after 12 weeks
- Nights starting at £16.47 per hour, rising to £18.76 per hour after 12 weeks
Pick bonus is available, depending on performance levels - earn up to an additional £2.23 per hour on top of basic pay!
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 5 out of 7, and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 3pm- Chill and Ambient
- 2pm to 10pm - Chill and Ambient
- 10pm to 6am- Ambient
Please note this will be working in a chilled environment.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include:
- Picking produce and selecting stock
- Stacking items into cages
- Delivering items and cages to the loaders
- Using manual handling equipment in a busy environment
Applicants will be working in the ambient using MHE.
Heavy lifting of up to 25kg is involved in this role.
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Warehouse Operative is comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment and can meet targets and deadlines. You will need to be physically fit due to heavy lifting throughout both shifts.
Applicants will be able to work in a cold environment and stand for long hours.
You need to be able to speak English at a conversational level so that you can communicate easily and effectively with the team.
Experience with MHE use is essential.
