Great opportunity to work as a Network Pallet Planner for our client's leading logistics company.

Staffline is recruiting a Network Pallet Planner in Telford.

The rate of pay is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

This is a full-time role working fixed afternoons and the hours of work are:
- 12noon to 8pm

Your Time at Work

As a Network Pallet Planner, you'll plan and execute collection and delivery schedules via the most cost effecient and cost effective means.

Key responsibilities
- Make full utilisation of TMS and vehicles to ensure accurate and appropriate allocation of driver/vehicle/trailer/loads
- Work with drivers to develop an effective relationship
- Communicate and share plans to deliver efficiency
- Manage staffing levels, including agency
- Create, promote and implement clear communication

Our Perfect Worker

Requirements:

- Proven experience in Network Pallet Planning within logistics, distribution, or haulage.
- Strong knowledge of UK compliance: Drivers' Hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
- Confident using TMS and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables/lookups desirable).
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with drivers and customers.
- CPC qualification (National/International) or willingness to work towards it.
- Experience planning multi-drop routes and time-critical deliveries.
- Knowledge of cost control, subcontractor management, and procurement.
- Experience in temperature-controlled, FMCG, retail, or e-commerce distribution.
