Warehouse Operative - Reach Truck Driver

A great opportunity to work as a Reach Truck Driver at our clients site in Northampton.
The hours of work are, rotating any 5 days out of 7:
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm
- 10pm to 6am
The rate of pay is from £14.49 per hour
Your Time at Work
As a Reach Truck Driver your responsibilities will include:
- Operate Reach Truck equipment safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack goods.
- Pick, replenish, and relocate stock within warehouse locations.
- Load and unload deliveries while ensuring correct handling of products.
- Conduct daily pre-use equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Accurately scan and record stock movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain stock accuracy and support inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Follow all GXO and Sainsbury's health and safety procedures.
- Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Meet productivity, quality, and performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Reach Truck Driver will have the following:
- Valid Reach Truck licence/certification.
- Experience operating Reach Trucks in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
