HGV Class 1 Drivers (Days & Nights)

Location: Magna Park, Lutterworth
Pay Rate: £19.05 - £28.57 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based at Magna Park, Lutterworth. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular work on either day or night shifts with a well-established logistics operation.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Day and Night shifts
- Regular ongoing work
Your Time at Work
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of:
- Trunking deliveries between depots
- Multi-drop deliveries to customer locations
- Transporting telecommunications products, including palletised goods and boxed items
- Navigating to both local and remote depot locations
- Unloading goods when required
- Operating a MOFFETT truck-mounted forklift as part of daily delivery duties
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork accurately
- Delivering a high standard of customer service while maintaining compliance with all transport regulations
This role involves a significant amount of MOFFETT work, so all applicants must be comfortable with this aspect of the position.
Our Perfect Worker
- A valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence for minimum 2 years
- A minimum of 3 months recent and continuous Class 1 driving experience
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- An excellent understanding of Driver's Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive
- The ability to carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly
- Strong communication skills
- A flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
- A willingness to assist with unloading when required
All successful applicants will be required to attend a full-day assessment, which will include driving and operational elements to ensure suitability for the role.
MOFFETT experience or certification would be highly advantageous; however, full training will be provided for suitable candidates who do not currently hold the qualification.
