Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's site, which operates as the main distribution centre for a well-known client's speciality foods.
The rate of pay is £13.10 per hour.
Overtime is available and is paid at £19.65 per hour.
This is a full-time role working Sunday to Thursday, and the hours of work are:
- 01:30pm to 10:00pm
Experience in a similar role is required.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for:
- Picking and packing products.
- Receiving, unloading, and checking deliveries.
- Loading vehicles for distribution while ensuring products are handled safely and securely.
- Operating warehouse equipment.
- Maintaining stock accuracy through regular inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Assisting with goods-in and goods-out operations to support efficient distribution.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily dispatch targets and customer delivery deadlines.
Please note that there will be some heavy lifting and manual handling.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have good physical fitness for a fast-paced warehouse environment and have the ability to stand and walk for long periods. You will be comfortable working in chilled/low-temperature environments.
Applicants will be reliable, punctual, and have strong teamwork and communication skills.
You will have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow health and safety procedures.
