Overview.

Great opportunity to work as a Weekend Stock Controller for our client's main distribution centre for well-known speciality foods, from here our products are distributed to our depots.

Staffline is recruiting Stock Controllers in Worcester.

The rate of pay is £14.10 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £21.15 per hour.

This is a part-time weekend role working fixed shifts, Friday to Monday. The hours of work are:
- 6:30am to 4pm

Your Time at Work

As a Stock Controller your duties include:

- Carrying out regular stock counts and inventory checks, including weekend counts on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Accurately book stock into the warehouse management system.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Update and maintain stock data using Excel, Outlook, and the WMS.
- Liaise with warehouse and operational teams to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
- Ensure all stock movements are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
- Follow company procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Strong numeracy skills and ability to work accurately with stock data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

Please note you will be working in a chilled environment and there might be some lifting involved in this role.
