Great opportunity to work as a Freezer Operative for our client's busy distribution center for fresh food.
Staffline is recruiting for Freezer Operatives in Wakefield.
The rate of pay is:
- Pre-parity £14.37 per hour
- Post parity £16.99 per hour
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, any 5 days out of 7 (some weekends included), and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 2pm
Applicants will have good attendance and availability over the weekend.
Your Time at Work
As a Freezer Operative you will be responsible for:
- Picking of goods in the freezer department
- Loading and unloading onto vehicles
- Clean as you go policy must be followed
- Operating an electric pallet truck
- Voice order picking system
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be physically fit and able to do heavy lifting. You must be confident in operating a voice picking system and an electric pallet truck.
Applicants must be able to work in a freezer environment with temperatures around -20°C and -28°C.
No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
