Join Our Team as an HGV Class 1 Trunking Driver
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for reliable work, competitive pay, and consistent shifts? We are currently recruiting professional and dedicated drivers to support one of our leading clients.
This role involves trunking between distribution centres with minimal manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy straightforward, long-distance driving and a structured working environment.
The hours of work are 8pm - finish
The rate of pay is £16.70 - £19.20 per hour
Your Time at Work
As a HGV Class 1 Driver your role will include:
- Completing trunk runs between regional distribution centres
- Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods
- Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Following all driving legislation and company procedures
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records
- Representing the business professionally at all times
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- A positive attitude and strong commitment to safety
- Previous trunking experience
