Staffline is recruiting Line Leaders in Dudley.
The rate of pay is:
- Trainee £13.91 per hour
- Competent, after 12 weeks £14.61 per hour
- Senior £15.25 per hour
This is a full-time role working rotating shifts and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm
Your Time at Work
As a Line Leader you will be responsible for:
- Effectively motivating a team of people to meet production targets
- Ensuring the final product meets client specifications (SPI) To effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure the plan is met on an hourly/daily basis
- Effectively use the integrated management system (Vision)
- Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
- Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
- Ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to
- Liaise with agency controllers on a day-to-day basis, providing feedback regarding agency workers
- Attend team leader meetings
- Assist in the training and development of new starters
- Act as a role model for best practice
- Monitor, control and minimise waste
- Play an active part in continuous improvement
- Conduct RTW and disciplinary interviews as required
- Participate in the company's appraisal system
- Drive own personal development through training and work-based experience
- Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post
