Great opportunity to work as a Hygiene Operative for our client, a leading pork processing facility based in Bugle, St Austell.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team with full training provided and opportunities to develop new skills.

Full-time and part-time positions are available!

The rate of pay is £15.79 per hour.

Overtime is avalible and is paid at £23.69 per hour.

The hours of work are:
- Nights 22.30pm to 06.30am

Students are welcome to apply.

Applicants must have their own transport to travel to the site.

Your Time at Work

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play an important role in helping to complete thorough cleaning of factory equipment such as dolavs, tanks, racks, etc to the highest standard.

Key Duties:
- Complete thorough cleaning of all internal areas to the standards laid out in the hygiene management system
- Be a hands-on Operative supporting the delivery of the Hygiene function in the factory
- Comply with food and hygiene requirements at all time
- Wear correct PPE
- Operate within the company health and safety standards at all times.
- Ensure you comply with good standards of general manufacturing practice at all times.
- Follow procedures and comply with all Technical standards and support other areas as required.
- Assist as required with training and development initiatives
- Take personal responsibility for own development and ensure knowledge and understanding of best practice

Our perfect Hygiene Operative will need to be physically fit due to the nature of the role and be happy to be on their feet for long periods.

You will be:

- Positive attitude, be flexible and hardworking with a passionate commitment to quality
- Able to carry out physical tasks that would be reasonably required
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately and consistently

Applicants must have a basic understanding of English and their own transport, as the site is not accessible by public transport or on foot.
