TSS are looking for a Specialist SIA Store Detective in Leicester/Coventry, where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour

Applicants must hold an SIA Door Supervisor licence.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of Store Detective experience.
Driving is an advantage as travel is required within a 20 mile radius.
Your Time at Work
As a Store Detective your duties include:
- To provide covert security, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff. Having the ability to be 'invisible' and blend in is crucial.
- You must have a clear understanding of ASCONE to ensure any and all stop are legal and safe.
- You must have a high attention to detail to spot ""tells"" and suspicious behavior that others might miss.
- Multi-Site Travel. Candidates must be willing and able to travel between Leicester and Coventry shops.
- Apprehension & Conflict Management: Ability to safely detain shoplifters and de-escalate volatile situations.
- To carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
- To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
- To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
- To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
- To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
- To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
- To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
- To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA license is clearly displayed
Our Perfect Worker
Previous Store Detective experience or 3 years of Retail Security experience, plus a strong understanding of retail loss prevention is required.
Our perfect Store Detective will also need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service. A lot of admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices. A successful candidate will require to travel between Leicester and Coventry, thus it is essential for candidate to have means of transportation.
