Great opportunity to work as a PPT Operative for our client's logistics center, which deals with freezer work.
Staffline is recruiting PPT Operatives in Luton (LU4).
The rate of pay is:
- AM £12.95 per hour
- Nights £13.40 per hour
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, any 5 out of 7, and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 4pm
- 1pm to 10pm
- 11pm to 8am
Your Time at Work
As a PPT Operative your duties include:
- Equipment Operation: safely and effectively operating Electric Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) in sub-zero temperatures.
- Stock Management: Cross docking frozen stock across the facility.
- Logistics: Loading and unloading distribution deliveries accurately.
- Site Care: Maintaining strict cleanliness, organization, and tidiness within the warehouse zone.
- Compliance: Following rigorous health and safety procedures at all times due to the specialized cold environment.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be reliable, have a flexible attitude toward shift extensions, and a strong eye for detail. You will have complete physical readiness to work full shifts inside a heavy freezing environment.
Proven, hands-on experience operating an Electric PPT is strictly required. A live PPT Licence would be desirable but training will be provided to candidates with proven in house experience.
