Apply today to work as a Stores Operative in Nottingham for our client, a leading bakery manufacturer, producing a wide range of bread and baked goods for major retailers and food service providers.
Please be advised this role requires heavy lifting, up to 25kg.
The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
This role offers rotating 4 on/4 off shifts.
The hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm.
- 6pm to 6am.
Due to the location, you must have your own transport, unless you are able to travel using the Rainbow One bus.
Your Time at Work
As a Stores Operative, your duties include:
- Heavy lifting of up to 25kg.
- Weighing grains.
- Maintaining hygiene and completing cleaning routines.
- Supporting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Working in warm environments.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker would be someone who is reliable, hard-working, and able to follow instructions. They must be comfortable with warm areas, a noisy environment and dusty conditions due to flour.
Applicants must be able to follow hygiene, safety and manual handling rules. PPE is provided and must be worn.
Clear English communication skills are essential to be able to understand and relay information quickly and safely in a noisy environment.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
